My writting goals for term 2

   IALT: Improve my writing by learnig how to ;

 *Organise my writing into paragraphs 
*use a variety of sentence starters
*use the correct  languages features of a narrative
dialogue
use a variety of sentence starters 

 to help me with this goal I am using a 'sentence starter menu'

 it will help my writing be more interesting and to hook the reader in more.

IALT: develop my reading comprehension skills Recently I took an asTTle reading test. I read a number of texts and answered a range of questions to check my understanding and comprehension. The aim is to take a test at a level where I will make some errors so that I can identify what I need to work on to be a more successful reader. WALT understand the purpose for writing Mother of Dragons picture prompt When the dragon had hatched, crawling out of its shell onto her bed, Zoya knew that her life would never be the same again. She had brought the dragon far away from her village; away from the people who would hurt it and take it away from her. Term 4 Learning Goal My Learning Goal Read more books than I usually do. How am I going to achieve my goal? List strategies that you can use to work towards achieving your goal. Read at home and at school as much as I can (SSR and before bed at home) Find a book that I am intrigued in, even if it's online. Work towards completing the 40 Book Challenge How will I know when I have achieved my goal? I could list the amount of books I have read in a certain amount of time.
